Hey Jarvis: Turn Your Laptop Into a Talking Jarvis with Claude Code
Tony Stark built his Jarvis in a lab. This one runs in your browser on your own laptop. It's an open-source project (MIT license) built on Claude Code: say "Hey Jarvis", it wakes up with an arc-reactor screen, listens, and answers you out loud.
It can search the web, play YouTube videos on its screen, control a browser, and even take screenshots of an Android phone. Add a Gmail tool to Claude Code and it can read your inbox to you too. Anything risky, like sending, deleting or paying, is switched off by default until you turn it on.
The code is free and there's no separate API key: it uses your Claude Code login, so it runs on the Claude plan you already have. You don't need to code. Paste the GitHub link into Claude Code and say "set this up for me".
