One ChatGPT Prompt That Turns a Cheap Poster Into a Brand Campaign
Most shop posters made with ChatGPT look cheap: neon text, stickers, starbursts and five offers fighting for attention. The problem is not ChatGPT. It is the prompt.
We tried it on six local shop posters (momos, vada pav, a gym, a saree shop, a coaching class and a salon). First a normal prompt, which gave the usual loud poster. Then we uploaded that same poster back into ChatGPT with the prompt below and Thinking turned on. The result looks like a real brand campaign: one hero photo, lots of space, two fonts, a calm colour palette and one clear call to action.
It works on any poster you already have, made by ChatGPT or not.
Prompts & steps
- Take your current poster (any shop poster, made by ChatGPT or not) and save it as an image
- Open a new chat in ChatGPT and upload that poster
- Copy the prompt below and paste it under the image
- Tap + and turn on Thinking, then send
- Check the shop name, price and phone number. If any text is wrong, reply: fix the spelling of <word>, keep everything else the same
Act as the lead designer of a top branding studio. Redesign this poster as a clean, premium brand-campaign poster. Keep exactly as written: the shop name, the main offer, the price and the contact details. Spell every word correctly. Remove: stickers, neon or 3D text, starbursts, arrows, extra badges and anything that adds clutter. Design: one strong hero photo of the product, plenty of empty space, at most two fonts (a bold modern sans-serif for the headline), a calm palette of 2-3 colours that suit the product, and a clear order: headline, hero image, price, one call-to-action button. It should look like an ad from a real brand, not a local flyer. Keep the same size and aspect ratio as the original.
